IP switches use a server to control the system and speech is delivered in TCP/IP (the Internet protocol). The major benefits are for organisations with multiple sites (WAN), and telephone calls can be sent through existing data networks.

Each variant has a number of manufacturers claiming to be best.

Our advice is that the dealer who installs it, commissions and provides training must remain at the top of your thoughts.
