Internet web
site marketing problems
When most UK businessare thinking
about producing internet web site marketing, eye pleasing
design is probably what is at the top of their list - right
next to price. The two most important factors in web site
marketing design are
- To identify the main goals and
objectives of the web site marketing strategy in order to
effectively communicate its purpose.
- To identify the target audience
in order to understand the motivations, goals, behaviors,
and technical requirements of that target audience.
To meet the intended audiences’ goals,
you must develop a specific purpose and articulate this to
the intended audience, either explicitly or implicitly. By
identifying primary goals and objectives, you can identify
the internet web site marketing's content and its organisation.
A clear goal statement should be included in the content—possibly
as an overview of the site’s contents. A web site must have
the ability to create a personal relationship between the
company and the consumer.
Consumers will not 'buy' from an amateurish
web site. So you need to inspire visitors with confidence,
that yours is the kind of company that does things right,
and that if they contact you, it will be a good experience.
Of course there is no direct connection between the quality
of your web site marketing and the quality of your company.
A company could have a brilliant graphic designer and lousy
products or services. But usually there is a connection, and
that is what visitors to your web site will assume.
If your company is unable to put
up good internet web site marketing, then it seems natural
to assume that your company cannot deliver good products or
services. If potential clients find that your company either
doesn't have a web site, or has a web site with nothing in
it, they will not be impressed. Almost as bad as the empty
site is the site that looks amateurish. What is needed is
a web site marketing that says, we mean business.
